I am pregnant=I am weird
So here was my initial reaction to finding out I was having a girl:
"What, that is amazing!"
Then, fear....
"I don't know what to do with a girl."
Then, defensive...
"I don't need a girl when I love my boys so much."
So, I am a freak. I kind of felt this way when I was about to have Luke, like "I love my Sammy so much, I don't need anything else."
Now I know it doesn't work that way because your love just grows and expands. I think it's just because I have taken pride for so long in being a Mom of rambunctious boys and when I looked into the future I've seen them as teens and pictured raising them and I have never pictured a girl. So yes, I'm a freak. I know I'll love this baby, and I am very excited for a little pink in my life...but a little freaked out.
SHOUT OUT:
I have a lot of friends/family that also have 3 boys. Cra-zay!
This is a shout-out to: Camila, Heather, Stephanie, Jenni, Vikki, and Holly...you're next one will be a girl...we have to keep our club alive!
And to Julia...who leads the way:)

I like it when you're weird.
I am SO excited for you!! And maybe a little jealous... and I got all choked up reading your blog and looking at the pictures:) I can't even imagine (why am I still about to cry about this? I'm not the one with crazy pregnant hormones!). I can't wait to meet this beautiful, well-protected, patiently-waited for little girl!!
p.s. Way to go Sam for the X donation:)
yes! i have 3 older brothers and then me...so i figure i will be just like my mom. and you!!!
I can't wait to make you little girl things. Your boys will be such awesome older brothers to this little one.
Yea, Kimmy! Congrats on baby #4. Little girls are so fun. My little Lily wears tutus or her tinkerbell costume everyday. You're gonna love it!
Kim you have given me HOPE!!!! You are still a memmber of the three boys club though :) Yay for a girl.
I am not sure what these people are talking about, girls are not fun....totally kidding, I love love it. It is so fun to get to raise both boys and a girl. They are so different and wonderful. I miss having a little girl, I don't want any more babies, but the thought of another baby girl almost makes me change my mind sometimes.
Hurray!!!! Thanks for the shout out. I am so happy for you. That is very good news. Cheers to pink.
Funny, when I found out you were having a girl I though, "do I even know how to love a baby girl? I've just loved little baby boys for so long..." but I know I will be obsessed with my little niece the second I see her little body kickin' it in her tiny diapers!!! Hum... but probably more like in 2 days when I see you and your round tummy.
