I told Sammy yesterday that we weren't going to watch any shows today and he asked why and I said because we love each other, and he promptly responded by saying "I love you too Dad, but sometimes when people love each other, kids still watch shows." I guess any old reason isn't going to work any more. He understands more than I give him credit for.

what can you say to that? now you'll have to start the "because i said so" line of logic, but beware, it doesn't work on four year olds or teenagers. he's so cute.
