He's Here

Henry David Hirt was born this morning at 12:55 AM. He weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz and was 21 inches long. There were no complications with the delivery and Kim is recovering well. Here are a few pictures. We are excited to have him and for all of you to meet him someday.

More than a baby bump:)

So I usually try to avoid pictures when I am 9 months pregnant, but my sister told me I should document what my belly looks like. I also got my hair done a little blonder than I am used to, oops. Here's a pic, don't mind the puffy face:)

Blueberries

Eat your heart out MOM. We went blueberry picking on Saturday morning, we got there at 7:30 AM to avoid the heat, it actually felt very nice. This is was my first time picking non-Alaskan bluberries. I must say it was much easier having 4 ft high bushes instead of 6 inch bushes. We picked a gallon in an hour. We talked to the owners of the property and looked at their geese and pet their dogs. It was fun. Here are the pictures.
Sammy did more eating than picking but really liked it
I barely got this picture before they were stuffed in Sammy's face
In the bag
Sammy was the perfect height

Definitely more per bush than AK, but not as tart, bluberry cobbler for dessert tonight

Dancing

So you think you can dance?

Happy 4th of July

The kids don't particularly like firworks. Luke wouldn't show his face. It was incredibly cute. Also here is Sammy holding a huge toad we found in the backyard. He loves to hold animals
